Spring Buzz Party
The first party of 2014 called Spring Buzz was held in our Hungária (Hungary) Room on 2 April 2014.
The male employees, including me, assigned the role of the organiser to our female colleagues. As a result, our partners could enjoy a ’girlish’ party. The evening was hosted by Kitti Varga, our marketing manager, who informed me of the event.
Mónika Halmos as an expert of edible flowers fascinated everybody. At the end of the party, our guests had the opportunity to taste delicacies flavoured with rose, almond, lavender, elder, pansy and violet.
Évi Marillai, who is the owner of wonderLAB, a store selling the products designed by more than 30 Hungarian designers, brought some sample accessories and dresses which women could try on. Three of our female partners underwent a complete makeover thanks to stylist Zsuzsi Jani and make-up artist Fruzsina Kemény.At the mini fashion shows, they discussed spring fashion trends so as to be trendy and well-prepared for good weather.
Our confectioner Melinda Kelemen was also introduced to the public. Our guests had the chance to try her unique delicacy which had been awarded the prize for the best dessert at VinCE Wine Festival.
The pleasant atmosphere was provided by a DJ, whereas our chef Áron Barka was responsible for delicious food and drinks.
Expressing the spirit of the evening, the farewell present was flowering tea. The women also received the printed recipe of lavender ganache, our award-winning dessert.
Those partners who could not attend the party should not be sad, because the we will organise several similar occasions for our partners in 2014.
