Gallery Café & Bar
Another important element of the gastronomic offering of the hotel is the Gallery Café & Bar situated on the faithfully restored mezzanine level, where the main entrance is found.
The world of Pest coffee houses was a very significant element of the turn-of-the-century bourgeois gastronomy. Previously, guests of the former Continental Hotel included artists and writers, such as the poet, Attila József, who were regular customers of the Hungaria Coffee House and frequently also used the services of the Hungária Bath.
Live piano music brightens the evening in our café every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. At the piano is Ádám Holló, an exceptionally talented 21-year-old jazz pianist and graduate of the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music. The program is complimentary for our guests.
